How to donate materials

Donations by appointment only

Art Salvage collects clean and usable art and craft materials and other interesting items for creativity. Please follow these steps when making a donation:

  1. Check the list of: ITEMS WE ACCEPT and ITEMS WE DON’T ACCEPT.

  2. Schedule a donation ONLINE to see available donation days and times, or call the store during open hours 509.798.9039

  3. If your donation is over 6 bags/ boxes, especially large, heavy, or unusual please call us for a consultation.

  4. Indicate how many bags/ boxes you have to donate by selecting the quantity from the drop down menu when making an appointment online or tell us over the phone.

  5. Briefly indicate what kinds of materials you have to donate (ex “craft materials, yarn, used canvases”).

  6. Organize your donation in a box or bag you will leave with us. Keeping your donation organized helps us get the items to the sales floor quicker.

  7. We reserve the right to reject any donations at any time. Our needs change daily. You can call the day before your appointment to confirm that the materials you plan to bring are on our accepting list.

  8. Bring your material donation to Art Salvage at 610 E North Foothills Dr on the day and time of your appointment during the 30 minute window.

  9. Donations are accepted at the west side of the building off of Standard St at the loading doors. Ring the door bell or call us and we will be right with you.

  10. We will give you a tax receipt and that good feeling that comes with supporting your local creative reuse nonprofit! Thank you!
